     I have been interested in drawing and painting for as long as I can remember.

     Educated as a Registered Nurse, I started pursuing my interest in art with classes and workshops at the West Hartford, CT Art League  and The Creative Arts Center in Chatham, MA, Cape Cod Museum of Art , Cape Cod Art Association, and the Center For The Arts in Bonita Springs, FL and with the pastel societies on Cape Cod and Southwest Florida.
​      I am fascinated by the color and contrast inherent in the natural beauty of Cape Cod and coastal Florida and in my travels, and enjoy the opportunity and challenge to depict it on paper , panel or canvas. I think the greatest gift the pursuit of art has given me is the focus a trained eye in composition, color and value gives to my view of the world. I am never at a loss for subject matter!

     I am an active juried member of The Cape Cod Art Association, and a member of The Cape Cod Pastel Society, The Creative Arts Center, Yarmouth, MA Art Guild, Southwest Florida Pastel Society, The Naples Art Association, and  The Marco island Center for the Arts.

     I have won awards at The Creative Arts Center, Cape Cod Art Association and Yarmouth Art Guuild , Southwest Florida Pastel Society shows, and I have paintings in several private collections.
